Christopher Peter Meloni has been a popular American actor for many years. The actor is best known for the roles he performed in "Law & the Special Victims Unit". At the age of 18, he began to pursue a passion for acting. At the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was studying acting. Although he's been active on film and television it is his characters on the smaller screen that brought him fame and a large admirers. There is no doubt that his characters have been able to capture audiences' attention by playing characters on both one side of the law. He played the serial killer role in his first television project as well as later portrayed as an NYPD detective. He was repeatedly nominated for both the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. His most attractive facial feature is said to be his piercing blue eyes that are regarded to be a trademark and have aided in depicting tough characters that have charisma. He was named on People's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
